MHA are having to recruit more counsellors as their waiting list goes back up to six months.
Mental Health Aberdeen say they are recruiting more counsellors as more and more people come forward asking for their help.
At one point, the waiting list to speak to a counsellor went back as far as six months.
They've put it down to several factors, such as the North East's economic downturn, as well as people feeling more comfortable talking about stress, depression and anxiety.
