Airlines have sent more planes to Aberdeen Airport to help deal with a backlog of flights after heavy fog caused cancellations last night.

Fog and mist caused the airport to cancel every departure and arrival last night.

Today, flights are starting to get back to normal, and more planes have been sent up to the Granite city to help deal with a backlog.

The Managing Director has praised the patience of passengers and airlines through cancellations and delays.
