The group behind a new charity event are looking forward to a day of fun and fundraising this Sunday at Aberdeen Sports Village.

The idea, thought up by a group of Aberdeen-based business people is aimed at raising awareness for local charities.

Scott McDougal, organiser of the day said: "The idea came about from a conversation on the ABN Network, it started as a charity football match then grew and grew and now we've got football but also much more, charity stalls, loads of activities for the kids and much more... and hopefully sunshine too!"
