Huge donation to our Coats for Kids campaign
Northsound's campaign to keep every child in the North East warm this winter has been given a massive boost. Aberdeen Asset Management's Charitable Foundation is giving our Coats for Kids appeal ÂŁ30,000. As the weather turns cold and wet, Cash for Kids is trying to make sure every youngster in Aberdeen City and Shire has not only a coat - but gloves, a hat, a scarf and suitable shoes. More and more children need help - there's been a 22% rise in poverty in our area over the past year.
