"Gunshot" in Aberdeen
Police look into claims a gun was fired in Northfield last night.
Police are investigating reports of a gunshot in a street in Aberdeen.
Officers were called to Provost Rust Drive at 10.30pm on Wednesday after calls that a firearm may have been discharged.
No-one was injured in the incident but police closed off part of the road
between North Anderson Drive and Moir Crescent to investigate the scene.
A force spokeswoman said: Officers are making inquiries into an allegation
that a firearm was discharged on Provost Rust Drive at around 10.30pm on Wednesday.
No-one was injured and inquiries are at an early stage but anyone who saw
anything is asked to contact police on 101.''
