Four Years for Killing Man After Taking Legal High
An Aberdeen man's starting a four year jail sentence after killing a man with one punch after taking a legal high.
Francis Thomson has been found guilty of the culpable homicide of Scott Ashton.
He hit Mr Ashton on Shiprow last May - he hit his head on the cobbles and died in hospital three days later.
The court heard it was hours before doctors saw him.
A witness told the jury Mr Thomson told her he'd just been released from hospital himself after taking a legal high, and was wobbly on his feet because of the effects.
The judge at the High Court in Aberdeen told the 25 year old he'd have to live with his actions for the rest of his life.
