More Flights Cancelled at Aberdeen Airport

Published 4th Nov 2015

There's more disruption to flights at Aberdeen Airport this morning - and it's all because of last night's fog.

More than forty flights were cancelled or diverted yesterday and North Sea helicopters were also hit.

It left hundreds of passengers stranded.

The fog has lifted this morning, but the problems aren't yet over.

Because planes couldn't get to the airport last night - they aren't there to fly out this morning.

That means services to Heathrow, Manchester, Frankfurt, Paris and other destinations have been cancelled.

People planning to fly out today are being urged to check with their airline - and you can check flight information from Aberdeen here.

This cames after fog down south caused disruptions to flights earlier in the week.

And with mist forecast for Aberdeen this afternoon, there's a chance of even more headaches for passengers today.
