Concern for missing Aberdeen man

Police are appealing for information to trace Douglas Rae who has been reported missing from the Cairncry Road area of Aberdeen. Douglas was last seen leaving Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Forresterhill Road at around 11.20pm on Saturday.

The 58-year-old is described as being 5'ft 10in tall with a medium build, fair complexion and has short grey hair. He was wearing a black duffle style jacket, cream t-shirt and black hat.

Douglas speaks with a local accent and is known to frequent the city centre, particularly licensed premises in the Market Street area. Inspector Chris Kerr, North East Division, said, "Medical staff have concerns for his welfare and are anxious to trace him. We are urging anyone who may have seen Douglas or has information that could assist with tracing him to contact them on 101.
