The Crown Office have confirmed they've dropped all charges over an Aberdeen school which was closed down by the Scottish Government.
The Hamilton School was at the centre of allegations that children were at risk.
Last summer the headteacher was told she wouldn't face charges - now a second teacher's learned the trial against her won't go ahead because of new information.
The closure of the private school meant the children had to be taught elsewhere.
That cost Aberdeen City Council close to a quarter of a million pounds, as they had to reopen the mothballed Braeside Primary.
The Crown Office said: "It is the duty of the Crown to keep cases under review and as a result of further information provided about the circumstances of the alleged offences, and the accused, Crown Counsel took the view that it was no longer in the public interest to continue with this prosecution."
