Builder dies at Third Don Crossing
A man's died after being injured working on the new bridge in the north of Aberdeen
A building worker has died on the site of the new bridge over the River Don in Aberdeen.
Emergency services were called to the scene in the Danestone area of the city at about 4.45pm on Wednesday to reports that a man had been injured.
A police spokesman said: Sadly, as a result of his injuries, the man was
pronounced dead at the scene.
Inquiries are at an early stage.''
The £18 million Third Don Crossing is due to open later this year and will link
Grandholm and the Tillydrone areas.
It is hoped it will help ease traffic congestion in the north of the city.
