A motorcyclist has been killed in a fireball crash in Aberdeenshire
A motorcyclist has been killed in a fireball crash in Aberdeenshire.
The accident happened on the A980 near Glassel yesterday afternoon.
A van and a motorbike were both destroyed when they hit each other and burst into flames.
It's believed the van driver escaped serious injury, but the person on the bike was killed.
The police aren't saying if it was a man or a woman.
The road's still closed this morning because the flames have damaged the road surface.
It comes just a few days after Michael Reid from Peterhead died when his motorbike crashed near Banff.
