Arrests over drug offences at Aberdeen festival

7 people were arrested at a festival in Aberdeen yesterday.

Police say nearly 1900 people attended the Enjoy Music Festival at Hazlehead Park and behaved responsibly.

But, quantities of ecstasy tables and cannabis was recovered from festival-goers.

In other incidents a 23-year old man was arrested in connection with an apprehension warrant while two men, aged 38 and 22, were charged in connection with anti-social behaviour.

Another man was also charged in connection with vandalism.

And a 19-year old man was taken to hospital suffering a serious facial injury after being assaulted as he was leaving the festival.
