Police Scotland are appealing for more information, after a Stonehaven man was struck and killed on the A90 last week.

34-year-old Barry McRae died after being hit on the northbound carriageway of the Aberdeen to Dundee road at around 2.30am on Friday.

It is thought he was travelling in a car parked on the other the southbound side of the A90, near Stracathro.

He is then thought to have got out of his car and crossed the dual carriageway and central reservation, before being struck.

Now police want to trace a black Audi that was travelling southbound on the A90 at the time.
