Aberdeenshire housing chief dies after accident.
Douglas Edwardson was involved in a crash with a tractor near Dunecht earlier this month.
A senior official at Aberdeenshire Council has died following a road accident.
Douglas Edwardson was the Head of Housing at the local authority - he was involved in a crash with a tractor on the A944 near Dunecht earlier this month
He'd been in a coma since then.
His family say they're devastated, and are very grateful for the support they've received, especially from all the staff at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
