The details of Aberdeen's Hogmanay celebrations have been announced today.
Aberdonians will be able to see in the new year with a 10-minute fireworks display set to music - for the first time ever in the city. It's believed to be the longest official fireworks display in Scotland on the night.
The free celebrations will start at 7:30pm at Schoolhill. Live music on stage will take place opposite Belmont Street, with five music groups battling it out to be crowned Northsound's 'One To Watch' competition.
The event will be hosted by our very own Breakfast team - Micky, Suzie and Pete.
The finalists taking part are Amber Hughes, SilverBySkyline, Soul Love, Estrella, and The Capollos.
Four giant screens will also be set up at Schoolhill, The Academy courtyard, Back Wynd, Gaelic Lane, and in the Christmas Village.
