Aberdeen Community Centre Faces Closure Without More Volunteers

Published 25th Aug 2015

An Aberdeen community centre will have to close its doors if more people don't come forward as volunteers.

The Inchgarth Community Centre has been running for the last 20 years but is struggling to find people who will help him out.

In a desperate effort, 2000 letters have been sent out to homes in the city, asking for much needed help from the community to save the club from folding.

The centre needs parents to volunteer once or twice a month and needs ten to 15 people to join him on Friday evenings.

If no more people come forward, the leader, Paul O'Connor insists the doors will have to close.
