Aberdeen City Council Announce Marischal Square Special Meeting Plans
Aberdeen City Council have announced that a special meeting to discuss Marischal Square will take place next week. Councillors will meet at the town house on the 5th of March at 4pm to debate the controversial issue. The SNP group within the council had previously submitted a motion for it to be put forward at a full council meeting on the 4th of March, but that was rejected by the Lord Provost George Adam.
Public opposition to the £107 million project has spiralled in the last few weeks after the publication of an unofficial videos and photographs showing how the development could look.
