20 Jobs Lost As Aberdeen Based Oil Company Goes Into Administration

An Aberdeen based oil company has gone into administration - leaving 20 employees redundant.

X-Subsea, which specialises in subsea dredging and excavation, has suffered from recent losses and cash flow issues.

20 staff based in Aberdeen have been told that their jobs are to be cut with immediate effect.

The firm also has operations in Houston, Dubai, Singapore and China, but they are not thought to be affected.

Currently, the firm's website shows a message detailing the job cuts.
