£150,000 of drugs seized in Aberdeen police raid

Two people have been arrested and drugs worth £150,000 seized in a police raid.

Officers carried out searches at properties in the Bedford Road and Hilton Drive areas of Aberdeen and found quantities of cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis.

A 48-year old man and a 44-year old woman have been arrested over the find and are expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday.

A force spokesman said: Targeting serious organised crime involving drugs is a priority for the division under Operation Aspen to ensure the north-east remains one of the safest places to live and work.
