Emotional full trailer released for Molly-Mae's new docu-series

It's no secret that it's been a whirlwind few months for former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague! Not only did she launch her first ever clothing business ‘Maebe’, but she shocked the nation as she announced that she'd split from fiancé Tommy Fury - and then, news dropped that she'd landed her very own docu-series on Prime Video! Here's everything you need to know.

Fans of the influencer were thrilled to learn that Molly-Mae had signed a deal for an exclusive access docu-series, which will see the business owner open her home to viewers, with an exclusive look at her life as an entrepreneur, influencer and mum. With just a month to go until Part One is released, we've now got a full-length trailer, and it's fair to say it's an emotional one...

The new series will be called Molly-Mae: Behind It All.

Is there a trailer?

There sure is - two, in fact! Molly-Mae shared the first trailer to her social media pages on Thursday 5th December. It was then on 18th December - with just a month to go until the release of Part One - that the official full-length trailer dropped.

In the emotional trailer, we see clips of Molly and former fiancé Tommy Fury, with the social media star discussing how following their split: "Every part of my life changed". Showing Molly balancing business launches and caring for her baby girl Bambi, the trailer teased that we'll get an insight into the "worst couple of months of my life".

Sharing the first teaser trailer in early December, fans got their first taste of what to expect, with the influencer captioning the clip: 'Molly-Mae: Behind It All @primevideouk Coming January 17th 2025'.

What is it about?

Prime Video announced the exciting news on Friday 22nd November, revealing the show 'will take viewers beyond the headlines to uncover the real Molly-Mae, following her journey after her highly publicised break-up.'

The synopsis goes on to say: 'We’ll see Molly-Mae adapt to the challenges of motherhood, all while preparing to launch her biggest business venture to date: ‘Maebe’. In this intimate look, we uncover how these experiences have shaped her into the powerhouse entrepreneur she is today. Balancing the demands of motherhood, the weight of her brand’s success, and the high stakes of her latest business launch, this documentary offers an unfiltered glimpse into her strength and ambition. This is Molly-Mae as we’ve never seen her before - raw, real and redefining what it means to thrive under intense public scrutiny.'

The full-length trailer teased clips of Molly-Mae discussing the difficult period of time with her mum, as well as teasing interviews with family members such as her sister, Zoe.

2015-2019: Molly-Mae's jobs before Love Island

Before shooting to fame in 2019, Molly-Mae earned a wage serving customers in her local Boots store, as well as working as a lifeguard at Hitchin Swimming Centre, in Hertfordshire. She'd also taken her first steps into social media influencing, telling fans years later that her first ad post, at just 16 years old, bagged her £25.

June 2019: Molly-Mae enters the Love Island villa

Model and social media influencer Molly-Mae Hague entered the Love Island villa on day four of series five, catching the eye of many of the boys, including boxer, Tommy Fury. She went on to come in a respectable second place alongside the hunk, after their love story unfolded; with Molly's return from Casa Amor being remembered as one of the most super cute moments in Love Island history.


After five years together, the couple split in August 2024.

2019: Molly-Mae became a brand ambassador for Pretty Little Thing

Not long after leaving the Love Island villa, brands were tripping over each other to work with Molly. Among her first collaborations was clothing company, Pretty Little Thing, who the social-media influencer became brand ambassador for.

2019: Molly signs partnership with Beauty Works

Another of Molly's early partnerships, Beauty Works joined forces with the blonde bombshell to create a range of hair extensions and styling tools which complement her signature long locks. Together, they designed a waver, a curling wand, straighteners and a range of hair clips.

2019: Molly launches self-tan brand Filter

The entrepreneur soon starts showing us what she's made of by bringing out her own range of luxury self-tanning products. They received great feedback from fans, bagging 4.4 star reviews on the Filter website. The brand has since expanded into selling a whole host of plush goodies, including dressing gowns, bags, drinks bottles and slippers.

2019: Molly-Mae joins forces with Look Fantastic

Another brand keen to work with Molly-Mae, Look Fantastic signs up to collaborate with the rising reality star. The online beauty shop started sponsoring Molly's make up vlogs showcasing their products.

2021: Molly-Mae becomes a millionaire

New accounts released for MMH Group holdings in 2021 revealed she had become a millionaire. This includes income from 2019-2020 from fake tan company, Filter, as well as brands FM Cosmetics and MMH International, alongside all of her assets.

2021: Molly becomes the official Creative Director of fashion retailer Pretty Little Thing

In 2021, Molly-Mae scaled up her position at Pretty Little Thing to become the brand's official Creative Director. She reportedly earned around £5million per year in the role — and called the move a 'huge moment in her career'.

April 2022: Molly buys her first house with Tommy Fury

Molly and then-boyfriend Tommy Fury announced in a post on Instagram in April 2022 that they'd bought their first house, in Cheshire. Never missing an opportunity to grow brand Molly-Mae, the social media guru soon set up an Insta account in the name of @mollymaison, giving followers all the home inspo they didn't know they needed.

2022: Molly-Mae collaborates with Cosmetips

Another business opportunity came Molly's way in 2022 when Cosmetips signed up to collaborate with the star. Molly-Mae's full beauty edits were soon available to purchase — complete with all the products the influencer recommends. Large volumes of limited-edition kits sold out immediately, due to Molly's ever-increasing popularity.

June 2023: Molly announced she's stepped down from Creative Director role at Pretty Little Thing

On 21st June 2023, not long after giving birth to a daughter, Molly revealed via a Q&A on her YouTube channel that she had decided to step down from her role as Pretty Little Thing Creative Director.


She said: "I'm only going to get this time once with my first-born child. I'm only gonna get Bambi being four-months old once, and yeah I just feel like I have had to just like rearrange my life a little bit, and like lose some commitments that I did have."


She did, however, confirm that she is still working with PLT, continuing with collections and edits, as she thanked them for elevating her career.

2023: Molly-Mae starts teasing 'big secret project'

Over the course of 2023 and into 2024, Molly has been spilling a little tea about an upcoming 'big secret project', which she says she had been working on daily. She didn't reveal too much, but followers of her YouTube vlog and Insta profile have been told to expect an announcement soon.

August 2023: Molly and Tommy appear in At Home With The Furys TV show

Molly and then-boyfriend Tommy Fury featured on the popular Netflix series At Home With The Furys, which was released on the streaming platform in August 2023. It focused on the life of brother, and fellow boxer, Tyson Fury, along with his wife, Paris, and six children.

March 2024: Molly becomes face of L'Oreal

In March 2024, it was revealed the fresh-faced influencer was scaling the dizzy heights of one of the world's leading cosmetics brands, becoming the new face of L'Oreal. Joining the likes of Kendall Jenner, Helen Mirren and golden balls himself, David Beckham — it's an accolade Molly's bound to be buzzing to have under her belt.

June 2024: Molly becomes a brand ambassador for Look Fantastic

After five years collaborating with Look Fantastic, Molly revealed in June 2024 that she was to become an official Brand Ambassador, saying: 'I have shopped on LOOKFANTASTIC for years and...I am proud to announce that I will be extending my partnership with LOOKFANTASTIC on a larger scale.'

July 2024: Rumours circulate of possible reality series

According to Mail Online, before their unexpected split, Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague were in talks with Prime Video to star in a fly on the wall reality series.


A source told the publication: "Molly is fiercely business minded and she knows television is the perfect way to open her following up to a new audience and show any of her doubters she is the real deal."

August 2024: Molly announces 'big secret project' will be revealed on 8th September

In Molly's first vlog since her split with Tommy she told fans all will soon be revealed about the 'big secret project' she's been teasing. Telling fans they're "not ready for what's about to happen", she said an announcement will be made on 8th September, with something exciting happening soon after on 21st September. The unveiling was pushed back by a week, to help give Molly extra time to come to terms with the breakup.


She said: "My heart and soul has gone into this new project. There's absolutely no chance I've worked on this as hard as I have for as long as I have for it to just not happen when and how and where, and in every way that I want it to. Like I'm going to make it perfect. To be perfectly honest with you, would I have taken a little bit more time off social media if it wasn't for my project? Probably. But because this has been in the pipeline for years, I'm ready for it to launch."

September 2024: Fans convinced 'new project' is a clothing brand

As Mol built suspense to the unveiling of her new business, mega-fans turned super-sleuths believed they'd cracked it. In a TikTok in August 2024, fan @lifestylelouella showed followers an Instagram account she'd found under the name MaeBe Store, which matched up to details on Companies House, registered to sell clothing and accessories.


With Insta following just one person - Molly-Mae - many took that as all the confirmation they needed that this was the star's new enterprise.

September 2024: Molly-Mae launches fashion brand Maebe

After weeks of anticipation, and teasing on her YouTube that an announcement was coming on Instagram on 8th September, Molly stayed true to her word, launching her brand new business venture on Instagram - Maebe. In a short clip shared on the maebestore Instagram account, we saw clips of Molly getting stuck in to various clothing photoshoots, before being asked: "Have you ever thought about launching a fashion brand?", before the business mogul replies: "Maybe". We see what you did there, Mol.


Although the exact range of clothing was not disclosed at the time, clips shared to the store's official Instagram show items such as blazers, trousers and cardigans, in a range of neutral tones. The brand's Instagram hard launch also teased that the store would be going live on 29th September 2024 - with Molly thanking her fans for the uproar of love and support they had shown her, and her new venture.

November 2024: Molly lands her own Prime Video docu-series

In November 2024, the news fans had been waiting for was finally announced...Molly was to star in her very own docu-series! It had been rumoured for some time that Molly and Tommy were soon to have their own show, so when the split happened in the summer of 2024, Molly-Mae fans hoped she'd carry on on her own. And that's exactly what's about to happen! Coming to Prime Video in January 2025 will be the first three episodes of a six-part docu-series, following mum and entrepreneur Molly-Mae (and little Bambi). We can't wait!
