Teen gets hilarious apology cake from mum after drug misunderstanding
Her mum thought she had been taking drugs.
Rachel Gelmis, a university student from the US has recently shared a 'memory' which has gone viral.
Her 'memory' from four years ago was of the time she had a voluntary drugs test at school. The results came back positive for pot, cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, benzodiazepine and barbiturates, however Rachel protested her innocence.
Worried about their daughter her parents started looking into rehab, before the school finally called to let them know there had been a mix up and Rachel had the all clear.
Rachel's mum was so upset that she had doubted her daughter she asked what she could do to make it up to her, so the teenager asked for a cake. And why not?
“I don’t remember what flavour the cake was but I do remember the frosting was caramel apple,” Rachel told The Huffington Post.
The student tweeted a photo of the cake which was a large, rectangular cake with blue icing which read, "Sorry we thought you did meth... & coke & pot & heroin".

Rachel, who is now 20-years-old, doesn't hold any grudges though and told The Huffington post, "She’s always been a very understanding and patient mum. I love her to death and we still laugh about this story all the time.”
However Rachel did tweet later on saying she had never had an apology for her school.
