Pets take to social media to get their EU referendum voices heard
#catsagainstbrexit and #dogsforbrexit trend on social media.
Pets (and their owners) have been taking to social media to get their thoughts on Brexit heard with #catsagainstbrexit and #dogsforbrexit trending recently on Facebook and Twitter.
Stepping away from the serious Vote Remain and Vote Leave campaigns the pets have been getting involved thanks to Lilian Edwards from Strathclyde who reportedly started the #catsagainstbrexit idea with this tweet on the 18th June:
This tweet has since attracted hundreds of responses with the hastag #catsagainstbrexit including some quite inventive tweets.
However in response to #catsagainstbrexit the dogs have 'retaliated' with #dogsforbrexit tweets.
How would your pet vote?
