You need to be VERY careful with Facebook's new 'like' feature

Especially if you're stalking your crush!

We all love a good stalk on Facebook. Seeing what people are doing, delving deep into an old school friend's Facebook photo album and genuinely being a nosey person. We didn't need to worry about accidentally liking a photo, unlike on Instagram, and we could carry on for hours, all undetected.

But gone are the good old days (we sound VERY old) as Facebook has just launched a new 'like' feature, which could get you caught in SECONDS!

The popular social media site has changed its 'liking system' meaning if you double tap on a photo, this action now LIKES the image, rather than zooming in. This just one of many new features added to the site, after the tech giant announced last year it was including an activity dashboard, a daily reminder and a new way to limit notifications.

The format is similar to Instagram's liking system, which Facebook also owns. It is said this is supposed to make liking photos easier but we're upset that our undisturbed stalking days are in the past!

These are the BEST celebrities to follow on Snapchat!

Facebook haven't actually announced this new feature. It was spotted by Matt Navarra, a social media expert, who took to Twitter to announce what he had discovered. He said, 'New! Facebook now let's you double-tap a post to Like it on iOS'. sic

And Matt wasn't the only one who tweeted their surprise. Some are loving the news, with one user in particular tweeting, 'Finally Facebook let’s you double tap pictures to like them', whilst others aren't too keen, stating, 'Man, my stalking days are #over'.

Here's to hoping we can try and get away with stalking our crush for a tad longer...
