A Salisbury leisure centre and nearby homes have been evacuated after the discovery of a suspected World War 2 grenade.

A magnet fisher discovered the device on Sunday afternoon in the River Avon.

A specialist disposal team are at the site near the Five Rivers Leisure Centre on Hulse Road, which has been evacuated along with some nearby properties for safety.
