Wales have crashed out of the World Cup after losing 3-0 to England in the World Cup.

After waiting 64 years to get to the tournament final, Rob Page's men just weren't able to perform on the global football stage.

The result left them bottom of Group B, with England and USA going through to the knockout stages

Reaction to Wales' World Cup Journey

There's been a big reaction on social media to the team's exit from the tournament.

Here are some of the messages posted last night:

First World Cup Finals in over 50 years

The last time Wales qualified for the World Cup was the tournament finals in Sweden in 1958.

Since then, it's been heartache for Wales fans on the global stage.

But Chris Coleman did take them to the semi-finals of the 2016 Euros in France.

But the road to Qatar 2022 saw excitement build as the Red Wall got behind the team and cheered them on at every game.

After beating Austria in the play-off semi-final, Wales qualified for the World Cup for the first time since 1958 with a 1–0 win over Ukraine at the Cardiff City Stadium on 5 June.
