Four people die in fatal collision in Gloucestershire as appeal launched

Four people have died following a fatal crash that saw a car come off the road near the Gloucestershire village of Ullenwood.

Officers were first alerted to an incident on the A436 near the village at around 2am on Sunday morning (July 21st).

Police who had been patrolling the area came across the collision site, which saw a black Renault Clio collide with a tree.

It appeared that the car had left the road and collided with the tree, killing the four people inside the vehicle.

The four victims have all been identified as male, and urgent searches are now underway to notify their respective next of kins.

Investigations are also underway to identify the men in full, while the force appeal to the public for information on the incident.

Currently, the A436 was closed in both directions between the Air Balloon roundabout, connecting to the A417 and the Severn Springs, but has now been reopened.

Those who may have any relevant information is being asked to get in touch with Gloucestershire Police as soon as possible, particularly those with dashcam footage.
