Two people die in caravan fire at Lincolnshire holiday park

Two people have died in a caravan fire at a holiday park in Lincolnshire.

Emergency services were called to Goldenbeach Holiday Park in Ingoldmells at 3.53am this morning (Saturday 5th April).

The victims were found and sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Their family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Fire & Rescue crews attended from Skegness, Wainfleet, Spilsby and Alford. There are two crews still at the scene and fire investigations are on-going.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said:

"We have Crime Scene Investigators on site, and we are carrying out inquires to determine the exact cause of the fire.

"We are at the very early stages of our investigation and as such we are keeping an open mind."
