The 19 yr old male victim reported being raped by two men in Steine Lane on the 21st of December, before managing to seek help from a passer by who called police.

Following enquiries, a 40-year-old man from Redhill, Surrey, was arrested in Esher, Surrey; and a 42-year-old man from Chessington, Kingston-Upon-Thomas, was arrested in Ramsgate, Kent.

They were both arrested on suspicion of rape.

Police say the victim continues to receive support from specialist officers as the investigation progresses.

Detective Inspector Sean Booth said: “These arrests were as a direct result of excellent work from our dedicated team of staff, officers and the public."

Officers are still appealing for information and urge anyone who can help with the investigation to get in touch.
