Three men killed in crash near Nottingham

Three men have died and two others have been arrested following a collision near Nottingham.

Emergency services were called to Cotgrave Road in Tollerton shortly after 11pm last night (Thursday 22nd May 2025).

The driver of a vehicle, a 23-year-old man, and two male passengers, aged 19 and 21, were pronounced dead at the scene, Nottinghamshire Police said.

Two men in another car, a passenger aged 20 and a 26-year-old driver who is in hospital with life-threatening injuries, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.

Sergeant Mark Baker, of Nottinghamshire Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Three men have tragically lost their lives following this incident and our thoughts are with their family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

"The victims' relatives have been informed and will be supported by specially trained officers.

"We will be carrying out a thorough investigation to determine what has happened.

"The road will remain closed while this investigation takes place."
