65-year-old charged with Birmingham triple stabbing on New Years Eve

A 20-year-old remains in a serious condition in hospital

A 65-year-old man has been charged with three counts of attempted murder after a stabbing in Birmingham on New Years Eve.

Earl Johnson from Birmingham was also charged with two counts of possession of a knife.

An 18-year-old woman, 20-year-old woman and 25-year-old man were all attacked on Doncaster Way in Hodge Hill shortly before 9pm on 31st December 2024.

The 20-year-old woman remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Johnson is due to appear in Birmingham Magistrates today.
