Man in court charged with murder of four people in South London

A man charged with the murder of four members of the same family in Southeast London is due in court today (April 27th).

28-year-old Joshua Jacques, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court in connection with the murder which took place on Monday (April 25th).

Mr Jacques is accused of stabbing and killing NHS worker Dolet Hill, 64 and her partner Denton Burke, 58, at their home on Delaford Road in Bermondsey.

He is also suspected of killing MS Hill's daughter Tanysha Ofori-Akuffo, 45, and Ms Ofori-Akuffo's daughter Samantha Drummonds, 27, who both also died at the house.

Mr Jacques was formally charged with the murders of the four people on Thursday morning following a lengthy police investigation by homicide detectives from the Metropolitan Police's Specialist Crime Command.
