Fast fashion retailer Shein has fast become one of the most popular online brands, with the Chinese retailer being valued at £81 billion in 2022 thanks to inexpensive products such as clothing, homeware and beauty.

After trialing a number of pop up shops earlier this year in Dublin, Bristol, Birmingham and Cardiff, it looks like bosses are keen to expand their plans to open more stores across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.

The exact location of the pop up shops are yet to be revealed, but after the company opened a new headquarters in Dublin this week, it's understood they will open before the end of the year.

Following the successful pop up shops earlier this year, which attracted around 4,000 shoppers per day in Dublin, Shein opened another store in Cork this week, between 12-17th May.

The brand said: “These pop-ups form an integral part of the Shein business model, allowing consumers to experience products first-hand as well as allowing the brand to engage with consumers.”

Originally founded by Chris Xu in 2018, Shein's headquarters are in Singapore, with the brand becoming increase popular with 'gen z' customers.

After growing to become the world's biggest fashion retailer in 2022, the company now delivery globally to over 150 countries, and in April 2022, it was valued at $100 billion (approximately £81 billion).
