Queen Elizabeth's coffin makes its way to Buckingham Palace
Her Majesty will be taken to Westminster Hall tomorrow to lie in state

Queen Elizabeth II's coffin has been flown back to London and is making its way to Buckingham Palace, which will mark its penultimate stop before a state funeral on Monday 19th September.
The Queen passed away at Balmoral last Thursday, her coffin has since travelled to Edinburgh and has been lying in rest at St Giles Cathedral where the public could process past the coffin.
The Princess Royal accompanied The Queen's coffin from Scotland and issued a statement this evening
In the statement, the Princess Royal said: "I was fortunate to share the last 24 hours of my dearest Mother’s life. It has been an honour and a privilege to accompany her on her final journeys. Witnessing the love and respect shown by so many on these journeys has been both humbling and uplifting."
The Queen's coffin heads to Buckingham Palace
After landing at RAF Northolt the Queen's coffin was received by a guard of honour, the State Hearse will now transport The Queen back to Buckingham Palace one final time.
The Princess Royal and Vice-Admiral Sir Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence left the RAF Globemaster C-17, which had brought the coffin carrying the Queen to England, just after 7pm.
Prime Minister Liz Truss and Defence Secretary Ben Wallace were among the dignitaries and military representatives who waited silently for the arrival of the flight carrying the Queen’s coffin to RAF Northolt in west London.
An RAF bearer party, formed by The Queen’s Colour Squadron and commanded by Squadron Leader Brian Dunne, then slowly brought the coffin from the aircraft and placed it into the waiting state hearse.
Coffin to rest at Buckingham Palace
The Queen's coffin will tonight rest in Buckingham Palace's historic Bow Room, where the monarch previously dined with foreign royalty and hosted dignitaries.
Recently, the room was used King Charles to host a reception for Realm High Commissioners on Sunday September 11th.
Lying in State
A procession of the former Queen's Guard (now called King's Guard) will take the coffin to Westminster Hall tomorrow.
It is predicted to leave at 2.22pm travelling through notable places in London such as Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner.
The coffin is due to arrive at Westminster hall at 3.00pm tomorrow where it will lie in state until Monday's funeral.
Rehearsals of this procession were seen taking place outside Buckingham Palace this morning.
