Prince Harry and Meghan Markle release cute video of Archie for his 1st birthday

Despite revealing they would no longer be posting on their Sussex Royal Instagram account, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released a super cute video of their son Archie, as he celebrates his first birthday today (Wednesday 6th May).

Prince Harry and Meghan, who are isolating out in Los Angeles, shared the cute video of proud mum Meghan reading a book to her son on the Save The Children Instagram page this afternoon.

The post reads, 'Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex reads "Duck! Rabbit!" for Archie's birthday. "Duck! Rabbit!" with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex (and Harry, The Duke of Sussex behind the camera), read to their son Archie for his 1st birthday. Happy Birthday, Archie!' (Sic)

Save The Children went on to say, 'Thank you #DuchessMeghan for helping us to raise urgent funds for our coronavirus appeal by reading "Duck! Rabbit" by @akrfoundation, illustrated by @tlichtenheld (published by @chroniclekidsbooks).

'As the world grapples with the coronavirus pandemic, children’s lives are being turned upside down. By donating to Save with Stories, you can support the most vulnerable families in the UK and around the world by helping to provide early learning packs, supermarket vouchers, essential household items and virus protection.' (sic)

The cute video comes after Prince William and Kate Middleton wished Archie a happy birthday this morning.

Posting a cute snap from Archie's christening, Prince William and Kate wrote on Twitter, 'Wishing Archie a very happy first birthday today!' (sic)

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced the birth of their first child on Instagram last year, writing, 'We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019. Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz.

'The Duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives.'
