Prime Minister apologises for encouraging Peterborough pupils to do viral dance
PM says sorry after joining in with "6-7" dance at a school visit
The Prime Minister's apologised for encouraging pupils at a Peterborough school to do the "6-7" dance.
The movements are a viral trend which the PM tried to do but was told it's been banned at the school.
Sir Keir Starmer was at Welland academy on Monday, where the trend flew around the classroom once it was started.
The children grinned as they pointed to pages 6 & 7 in their reading material.
As he's leaving the Year 2 classroom, the teacher says "Thanks Prime Minister for that lovely 6-7. You know children get into trouble for saying that in our school."
The PM responds "Oh do they?" as he leaves the room with his head in his hands.
