A restaurant in Norfolk is taking a stand against putting pineapple on pizza.

The owners of Lupa, in Norwich, say they're so disgusted by the thought, that anyone who wants a Hawaiian will have to put their dough where their mouth is and fork out £100 for it.

On the business' Deliveroo page, customers are invited to order the controversial, and pricey, pizza, with the product description reading: "Yeah, for £100 you can have it.

"Order the champagne too! Go on you Monster!"

The move's caught the attention of many people on social media, with some Instagram users responding to the announcement by expressing their love for the pizza: "I LOVE pineapple on pizza! Ever heard of sweet & salty concoctions? Same thing. I don't get why it's such a no-no for pizza. There are way worse things I've seen on a pizza than pineapple."

Others have backed the decision though: "Adding it to the menu for £100 is genius. Signed - an Italian who would never."
