Scott Sinclair wants Celtic to bring their domestic dominance to their Champions League clash with Borussia Monchengladbach on Tuesday night.

The Hoops are unbeaten in Scotland this season. Brendan Rodgers' side are nine points clear of Rangers at the top of the Ladbrokes Premiership with a game in hand, with a Betfred Cup final against Aberdeen at Hampden Park to look forward to next month.

However, European football is proving more problematic.

Celtic have one Group C point from a possible nine with a 2-0 defeat by the Bundesliga outfit at Celtic Park still fresh in the mind.

Sinclair believes the "winning mentality" built up in Scottish football can help the Hoops in Monchengladbach.

He said: "We have to take that league form and the winning mentality into the Champions League. If we can do that it will help us progress.

"It is a massive game and one that we need to win.

"Obviously they are a great side. We know what they are about, they get the ball down, they pass it.

"We didn't have a very good start the last time against them so we have to start quickly.

"The main thing is to get on the front foot, make sure we get the ball, keep possession,

"I would say we have nothing to lose. Everyone is expecting us not to win the game.

"We are the underdogs. But we need to play our normal game."
