St Mirren have completed the signing of former Ross County striker Yoann Arquin. The 26-year-old, who was released by the Buddies' relegation rivals earlier this month, has signed on at Paisley until the end of the season after passing a medical. Arquin scored six goals in 35 appearances for County after signing in January last year. The former Hereford and Notts County player said: "I am delighted to have signed for St Mirren until the end of the season. "I spoke with a number of people who I trust in football and they all gave me very positive feedback about the club and the fantastic facilities they have. I am looking forward to getting started on Saturday and hopefully help the club start to move up the league table." Caretaker manager Gary Teale added: "I am delighted to add Yoann to our squad as he is a player that will help us in the final third of the pitch with his link up play and also to stretch teams in behind. "We are hoping that with these strengths that he can add much needed goals to the side over the remaining months of the season." Teale has also been looking at Wigan youngster Ryan Jennings as he looks for firepower to replace the injured Steven Thompson.
