Bournemouth midfielder Emerson Hyndman should complete a loan move to Rangers later on Monday afternoon, Clyde Sport understands.
And the Ibrox club are also hopeful that they can conclude another loan swoop for Arsenal's Jon Toral.
USA international Hyndman flew into Glasgow over the weekend for discussions with Gers boss Mark Warburton.
Now a deal which will see the 20-year-old join up with the Light Blues for the remainder of the season has been agreed.
Talks with Toral are ongoing but Gers are confident the move will go through and they hope to unveil both players on Tuesday.
Hyndman was part of the Cherries side who suffered a shock FA Cup exit at the hands of Sky Bet League One outfit Millwall on Saturday but it was just his third outing of the campaign.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe signed the twice-capped Texan from Fulham on a free transfer this season but has yet to give him a taste of Premier League action.
Toral, meanwhile, has returned to Arsenal after a frustrating loan stint with Spanish side Grenada.
The Spanish midfielder has taken on Barcelona in the Nou Camp this term but that was one of just six appearances he has registered for the LaLiga side and Arsene Wenger believes swapping southern Spain for Scotland will benefit the 21-year-old more.
Asked whether the move to Warburton's side would benefit Toral, Wenger said: "Yes, because he has played games there for Granada but at the moment he doesn't play and personally I think it would be a good transition for him."
