Nick Morris has confirmed his return to racing for Glasgow this week - and also revealed he'll race in next month's Peugeot International Speedway Championship.
The Australian, 21, is the second of the Tigers' 2011 Premier League-winning side to be named in the line-up for the new meeting - which has a £10,000 prize fund. Somerset and Belle Vue's Josh Grajczonek, also of Australia, is the other.
Morris, who back in 2011 was a reserve for Glasgow, now leads the club at No 1. He will make his return from a two-week lay-off when the Tigers visit Ipswich in the league on Thursday.
And the Aussie World cup star says he can't wait to get back on the track after recovering from a nasty elbow gash.
He said: "I'm just happy to be riding again. I've been quite lucky with it - I've only been out for a couple of weeks - but I'm looking forward to riding and hopefully I'll do well.
"I've been off the bike for a bit now so I'm keen to start again. I've been so busy this year so it's been good to have a couple of weeks off - but I've missed more meetings than I wanted to already and it's a busy month, so it's good to be back."
Morris will likely challenge for the top cash prizes in the August 16 event.
He added: "It's always good if there's a bit of money up for grabs, but I always try and do my best anyway so there's enough incentive there and hopefully I can have a good one.
"If I can ride like I have all season then I should be good - we'll have a go anyway."
Glasgow will rely on the services of guests Rafal Konopka, of Peterborough, and former Ipswich rider Adam Ellis - who races for Birmingham in the third-tier National League - when they take on the Witches on Thursday. Rider replacement continues for the injured David Howe.
