Jack Aitchison admits his record-breaking Celtic debut took him by surprise.
The striker became Celtic's youngest player of all time when he came on for his debut on Sunday against Motherwell aged 16 years and 71 days.
And the teenager stole the show in Ronny Deila's farewell game as he netted with his first touch in a 7-0 victory at Parkhead before lifting the Premiership title.
Aitchison scored at Celtic Park in a UEFA Youth League encounter with Valencia earlier this year and repeated the feat in his first-team bow.
He told the Celtic View: "I realised I would make history because I was on the bench and someone told me, so I was hoping I'd get on, but to score on my debut was just amazing.
"I've been dreaming since I've been a wee boy about this, so for it to fall in place with my first touch - I can't describe the feeling.
"I hit the ball and I just started running because I knew it was in as soon as I hit it, but the atmosphere when I scored was amazing."
The Scotland Under-17 international added: "I didn't think I'd get my first-team debut within three months of the Valencia game, never mind score, so it's just phenomenal.
"I was told two days ago that I'd be in the squad, but I didn't think I'd get as much time on the pitch as I did."
