A 1-0 defeat to Partick two weeks ago left the Buddies boss facing a fortnight of soul searching during the international break. The Paisley men have won just twice all season in the Scottish Premiership and now have just goal difference saving them from bottom spot in the table. But with a trip to high-flying Hamilton next on the schedule this Saturday, Craig cannot wait to get his men back into action. He said: "It's been two weeks since our last game but it feels like a couple of years. I was itching to get back to work after our last game for obvious reasons. "We are still trying to get amongst the goals which has been lacking, so it's been a long two weeks for me. "But what it has allowed is the players who were out injured to have another two weeks on the treatment table without missing a game. "We're getting closer to have one or two back but we're pretty much still as we were before the international break. "But now we want to use it as a fresh start. We can say what is gone is gone. Now let's look to the challenge ahead. "We have got some tasty games coming up against Hamilton and Inverness. They are sides who have had decent starts to the season but are clubs like ourselves, so they are pretty meaningful fixtures. "But we have been working on a few things recently like crossing and finishing. That's been a bugbear of mine this season so hopefully that extra work will show on Saturday."
