17 film and TV locations you can visit in the UK
You don't need to visit Hollywood!
If you're planning a few days away over half term why not visit a film location? Here are some free or cheap places to visit across the UK. Whether you're a fan of Harry Potter, Star Wars, or Downton Abbey, there's a location here in the UK that you can visit.
Take a trip across the Glenfinnan Viaduct in a Harry Potter-style train, or visit Platform 9 3/4, where Harry Potter travels to Hogwarts (actually part of Kings' Cross station in London).
Alternatively, try going for a walk in the woods where Star Wars: The Force Awakens was filmed (Puzzlewood, England), or visit Highclere Castle, home of Downton Abbey.
Just remember to check any travel restrictions and stay safe.
