Construction on the first section of the A9 Dualling project gets under way today.
Cabinet Secretary for Infrastructure, Investment and Cities, Keith Brown will lead the ceremony this afternoon along side, community representatives and the contractor to mark the start of works.
The ÂŁ3 billion project will begin at the Kincraig and Dalraddy section and is expected to be completed by 2025.
