Helicopter joins search for missing woman
Concern is growing after Jacqueline Ullmer went missing during bad weather.
Specialist resources have been brought in after a woman who left her home in the Highlands during poor weather has gone missing.
Police Scotland said concern is growing for Jacqueline Ullmer, who was last seen in the early hours of Saturday on Station Road in Carrbridge.
The 60-year old is believed to have left her home between 1.30am and 6am in poor weather.
A HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Inverness, specialist search officers, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service crews, mountain rescue personnel and trained local volunteers are all involved in the operation.
Sergeant Karen Kerr said: "Jacqueline was last seen at around 1.30am yesterday morning within her home address but is thought to have left there sometime between then and 6am.
"We don't know where she went and we are unsure of exactly of what she was wearing when she left but it is believed to be blue jeans and a jumper.
"The weather conditions in the area were poor, particularly yesterday, and we don't believe she would have been dressed for the conditions."
She added: "I would appeal to anyone who is in or has visited the Carrbridge area over the weekend to think back and recall if they have seen Jacqueline.
"If anyone who has driven through the area can check their dashcam footage to see if it has captured which direction she took would be helpful and I would also ask local residents to check their sheds, garages and outbuildings in case Jacqueline has taken shelter from the weather."
She is described as being 5ft 6in, of slim build, has brown medium-length hair and is believed to be wearing a blue jumper and blue jeans.
