Woman killed after being hit by car on Skye named by police
Police name 21 year old Madison Rice as woman killed on A87.
Police Scotland have named Madison Rice as the young woman killed on Skye after being hit by a car yesterday.
The 21-year-old died after the collision on the A87 near Sligachan Hotel at about 1.15am yesterday morning. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries from the Vauxhall car. The male driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
ABOVE: Madison was from Australia, and she was working and staying in the area.
