A woman who died after a road accident in Morayshire has been named by police.
A woman who died after a road accident in Morayshire has been named by police.
Angela Spalding, 44, was killed when her red Audi TT car and a black Vauxhall Astra collided on the A96 Keith-Elgin road near North Bogbain at about 4.15pm on Friday
Police said Ms Spalding died as a result of the collision and a teenage female passenger in the car was uninjured.
A 35-year-old female driver of the other car was taken to Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin as a precaution.
Sergeant David Pirie said: "Our thoughts at this difficult time are with the family and friends of those who have lost their loved one.
"The road was closed to allow for an investigation to take place and I would like to thank the public for their patience while we conducted the necessary inquiries.
"Our investigation is ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who saw the collision or saw either vehicle prior to the collision to contact us."
