A Moray fish and chip van owner's told MFR News he and his staff were lucky to have escaped alive after their vehicle exploded.
Emergency services were rushed to Lossiemouth at around 7.25pm on Tuesday following the blast near Lossiemouth High School.
Two female members of staff were in the van at the time, one of whom was treated by paramedics at the scene, although her injuries aren't thought to be serious.
The Codfather's owner Colin Halley told MFR News: "It was just a normal evening. We'd just finished up after a busy night when it happened.
"We were just running about by headless chickens, the back doors had been blown out and the roof of the van came off.
"I'm glad it was at the end of the night when there was no general public there, that's one saving grace.
"At the time, you just think to yourself how lucky we've been. That could've cost lives, which you can't replace.
"We'll be off the road for a bit, but we'll be back up and running as soon as we can."
