Woman dies after lorry crash on A82
Police have confirmed a 26 year-old woman died after being struck by a lorry on the A82 near Drumnadrochit yesterday.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 1:20pm on Friday 25th October 2019.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say inquiries are ongoing into the crash and a full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
The incident caused a 26 mile detour the A833 Drumnadrochit to Balchraggan via Kiltarlity road before heading along the A862 to Inverness.
