Witness Appeal Following Serious Assault In Inverness

A man's been seriously assaulted in the Hilton area of Inverness at the weekend. A man in his 30's sustained facial injuries in the attack in Balloan Road on Saturday. Police want to speak to a couple who helped him to Island Bank Road.

A spokesperson said: "Officers would particularly like to speak to a couple who may have assisted an injured male by taking him from Hilton to the Island Bank Road area of the city.

"Anyone who witnessed the disturbance, heard or saw any suspicious behaviour in the area or has any information to assist with enquiries should contact 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
